my dog won't eat food i buy for her like tin food, and i was thinking cuz she eats mostly anything but tin food, can i make my own dog food for her? is so what do u put in it and do i cook it?

My dog ate chicken and rice for years, he had allergies to dog food I just cooked and cut up chicken and mixed it with rice that I cooked with vegetable stock in stead of water.
